Carla and Garrio interview Shaina, who teaches the beginner class at Chocolate Kizomba and Tropical Wednesday. Shaina started dancing Kizomba as her mother was a Kizomba teacher (at Chocolate), who decided to stop when social dancing restarted after COVID. Shaina started assisting Mikumba and quite quickly started teaching as there was a need of a complete beginner class. She shares her experience and learning while teaching, how she loves encouraging students and seeing them moving up and becoming more confident with their dancing. What keeps her coming back to teach and dancing every time? The music!!! The music is like an Addiction for many and once you get the connection with the music and the dancer, magic happens.
